2011 South Alabama Uniforms

In what would be their final season as an FCS team before moving up to a full time member of the Sun Belt, South Alabama played to a 6-4 record in 2011. This season also marked the program's first game against a major program, traveling to North Carolina State.

The Jaguars would continue to wear their red and white jerseys and pants from the year before. This season would mark the beginning of South's "tradition" to add a new element of their uniform wardrobe, this time adding a new set of blue jerseys and pants, as well as a new blue belt.



The blue jerseys feature the same block font as the red and white tops, but also showcase a smaller JAGUARS wordmark on the chest. Red piping wrap around the shoulder caps to add some contrast to the all blue look. The brand new pants would set the tone for the designs of the future pants, going with Nike's two stripe design, a design worn since by many teams, including Missouri.
