2014 South Alabama Uniforms

The 2014 season was South Alabama's most successful season as an FBS team, going 6-6 during the season, and earning their first bowl bid. 2014 also saw the most uniform combinations worn during the Jaguars' short history - 11 in total

Throughout the season, the Jaguars wore the same uniforms that they had in previous years, with the only exception being the grey alternate uniforms. Debuting against Navy in the final game of the regular season, South Alabama showcased their first non-school color uniform, going GFGS (Grey For Grey's Sake) with their new Speed Machine template uniforms from Nike.

The program earned its first bowl bid in 2014, earning a trip a few hours north to Montgomery in the inaugural Camellia Bowl. Rather than showcasing their school colors in the historic game, the Jaguars wore the same grey uniforms from the weekend before, but this time with a bit of a twist. To commemerate the bowl game, the Jaguars equipment team threw together a new helmet, one that South Alabama hadn't seen before. The right side of the helmet featured the standard JAGS wordmark that had donned the team's helmets since the 2013 season. The left side of the helmet was spotlighted by an oversized Jaguar head decal, a logo not worn since the 2012 season.
